Returns & Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges will be accepted for store credit only. As long as the item is still brand new and you got your item within 30 days, simply fill out our return from below and include in your package. Here’s what you need to know:

  • The item must be sent back to our warehouse within 30 days of receiving the order.
  • Returns must be in original condition (this means unworn, unstyled and unwashed with original tags and packaging).
  • A 50% restocking fee will be deducted if the item is missing any piece of original packaging (this includes tag, netting, tissue stuffing or bag).
  • Returns will not be accepted if the item was styled, cut, washed or altered. Returns will not be accepted if the item is tangled and/or contains any sort of external odor such as fragrances, smoke, food, sweat, etc.
  • Wig caps can be returned if the bag for it has never been opened.
  • All items returned will be given store credit for the purchase price minus the cost of the original shipping (meaning the cost that was used originally to ship out the package to the customer).
  • The customer will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping. The package can be sent back to our office via the most affordable shipping method of the customer's choice.
  • Returned items will be thoroughly inspected within 3-5 business days of receiving the package.
  • If the customer received the right item but does not like the color in person, that would be considered as a general return. It does not count as a product error. Monitors may display colors differently depending on the settings.

In the event there is a product shipping error or item defect, we offer a 100% refund or exchange. Email us at if you believe you have received an incorrect or defective item. Please include photo(s) of the wig in the condition it arrived in as well as the tag. This will help us confirm the possible errors.


Purchased in person at Coco Wigs or EpicCosplay Wigs booth

Returns or exchanges will only be accepted in person at the convention where the customer made the purchase from. For example, if the customer purchased an item from a CocoWigs/EpicCosplay booth at Anime Expo, all sales will be final once that convention is over. They cannot try to return it for next year's Anime Expo or on our website when the convention is over.

Furthermore, the following criteria must be met for returns or exchanges:

  • The item is in brand new condition.
  • The item has not been worn at all.
  • The item has all of its original packaging such as the bag, tag, netting and tissue stuffing.
  • The item has not been styled, cut, washed or altered.
  • The item is not tangled.
  • The item does not contain an odor such as perfume, smoke, food, etc.

The customer may be eligible for a refund if they had originally used a credit card to pay for the item(s) they want to return. Otherwise, exchanging would be the most preferred method.
